  • Pearls are organic gemstones, so we recommend taking good care of these special pieces. Because they are hand-strung on professional-grade wire, it is always best not to allow harsh tugging on them to prevent a damaging bend in the wire or breakage. When not wearing your pearls, keep them in the soft pouch they come in to prevent damage. It is ok to wear them in water; however, we suggest that they not be worn in chlorine excessively. If you do wear them in salt water or chlorine, give them a rinse in freshwater to keep the luster of their color. Please enjoy them daily!

  • Gold-filled jewelry consists of a thicker, bonded layer of real gold on a base metal such as brass or silver.  This construction makes it much more durable and longer-lasting than gold-plated jewelry, as the gold is not easily worn off. Gold-filled jewelry is also hypoallergenic, tarnish-resistant, and more affordable than solid gold, and yet has the same appearance and pairs well with solid gold pieces. Plus, when compared to gold-plated jewelry, gold-filled jewelry contains much more gold

    Handle with Care:

    • Keep your gold-filled jewelry away from harsh chemicals and cleaning products. It's advisable to remove your jewelry when handling such substances to preserve its pristine condition.

    • It's always best to not wear gold-filled or gold vermeil jewelry in chlorine and after a dip in the ocean or a day at the beach wash off with freshwater and pat dry. Be careful of some lotions as they may have fragrances or chemicals that can soften the gold luster with prolonged use.

    • Avoid Direct Contact with Perfume: To safeguard your jewelry, refrain from applying perfume directly onto it. Instead, apply fragrance to your body first and allow it to settle for a few minutes before adorning yourself with jewelry. The alcohol content in perfume can potentially harm your precious pieces.
